Challenge
The client ran two gastronomic ventures moving at different speeds: Osteria del Giardino, rooted in Ticino tradition, with a website stuck in... who knows when... and low-profile, poorly managed social channels; and AhPerò, a new catering service with neither an identity nor owned channels. The risk was twofold: an outdated online presence holding back bookings, and an emerging brand with no recognition. The project needed to combine independence with consistency, highlighting the osteria’s family atmosphere and the catering service’s high-level professionalism without confusing their audiences.
Audit & Insight
We mapped content, UX and social perception: no access to credentials, dated images and almost no organic traffic. Through short interviews, we identified three communication objectives: 1) relaunch the osteria for the local community; 2) position AhPerò! in the private and corporate events market; 3) build a visual bridge enabling immediate cross-selling between the two domains.
Audit outputs: two customer journey maps, a list of SEO quick wins and tone-of-voice guidelines.

Approach
We decided to develop both websites in parallel, sharing a moodboard and a single photography sprint: an on-site session capturing rustic hospitality, close-ups of fragrant pinse and atmospheric details. As the food photography took shape, the copywriting created a story combining “versatility”, “variations” and “a simple approach with a family atmosphere”. The golden rule: create a visual “wow effect” on the first scroll, but always close with a warm invitation to enjoy time together.
UX & Web Design
Both websites use a one-page design with clearly defined sections, full-width backgrounds and CSS micro-animations. The visual mood centres on warm tones and dark textures.

The layout highlights different visual themes: the ritual of pinsa, details of the venue and catering setups. High-resolution images are optimised as WebP and lazy-loaded to keep the website responsive on mobile too.

Amodeo Design did not simply give us a new logo: it gave us an identity that speaks with our voice and carries the aroma of our freshly baked pinse. In less than three months, the team brought tradition and innovation together in a process that covered everything: naming and a tagline for AhPerò!, a restrained redesign for the Osteria, and a photo shoot that makes you hungry from the first scroll. The attention to detail — from the cross-selling box connecting the two brands to the pre-prepared social media handbook — allows us to manage our communication simply and consistently. With Domenico, we felt listened to, guided and, in the end, proud to show ourselves to the world.
